How long will your fire proof or insulated file cabinet protect my important documents in case of a fire?
 Many businesses are careless about their record storage. Their office filing system consists of only metal file shelving. This will not protect your documents and media.

 Many businesses assume that an insulated file cabinet will protect their computer media (tapes, disks, CD-Rom, etc.) as well as their office filing records. While the insulated file cabinet will protect the media better than standard file shelving, standard fire proof cabinets will get too hot on the inside for computer media.
Computer media must remain below 125° F to remain protected. To use your existing fire proof file cabinets for media, as well as other office filing, the media must be stored in an internal "cooler" or a media file.
